UPCOMING DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOUR THERAPY (DBT) SKILLS GROUP FOR TEENS (AGES 14 to 18) STARTING OCTOBER 22, 2026:
GROUPS & WORKSHOPS
We are preparing to introduce several group-based services designed to support connection, skill-building, and shared learning in a supportive and structured environment.
Our group offerings will include therapeutic groups, skills-based programs, and workshops for adults, students, and parents. Additional details will be added as groups open for registration.
CBM will be offering an in-person DBT skills group for teens ages 14–17 / Grades 9–12.
The group will focus on practical, real-world skills based on the four core areas of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT):
Mindfulness
Distress tolerance
Emotion regulation
Interpersonal effectiveness
Sessions will combine psychoeducation with interactive exercises, discussion, and role-play to help participants understand and practise skills they can use in everyday situations.
Schedule: Thursdays, 6:00 PM–7:30 PM
Starting: October 22, 2026
Frequency: Weekly, 1.5-hour sessions
Location: CBM Psychological & Counselling Services, in-person
Ages: 14–17 / Grades 9–12
Facilitators: Jenna Fibigier & Kavon Eccleston-Hutchinson
Fee: $550 for 6 weeks, billed in 2 to 3 installments
